Katrina Blogs

Some blogs on the Katrina disaster:
Most of the major blogs are also covering Katrina developments heavily, e.g. dKos, TPM Cafe, Instapundit, Michelle Malkin. Instapundit's list of charities and bloggers is here. Donate to the American Red Cross here.

So much to read. It's both depressing and infuriating.

I've now increased my Adelphia cursing, as I have neither television nor cable internet, which makes it very difficult to stay up to date.

Very sad, indeed. The looting, the raping, shooting of medical workers, martial law.

And we're not talkin' Baghdad, here, but the Big Easy.

I'd say the vaunted Dept. of Homeland Security and the national leadership has proven that they are not up to the task of handling regional crises.

No you can't blame anyone for the hurricane, but had we invested in our own infrastructure, rather than tramping off on imperial escapades, perhaps things could have been different.
